Happy Spring!

I cannot believe it is April already! Although we've been in the throes of allergy season here in Florida for 2 months already, it's just hard to believe we're already 4 months in to 2009! For those of you in colder parts of the world, I'm sure this spring/summer will be a relief to you--here's hoping the sun gods are kind to you. lol

I am excited to inform you that I am the feature author of the month at Author/Artist Rae Lori's blog, A Writer's Dream, this April. Rae has been a sister-friend to me for the past 2 1/2 years (although I feel like I've known her forever) and she is one of my inspirations and motivators. She has a work ethic like no one I've ever known (outside of my family..lol) and a really big heart that she opens to all. She will be a guest here at The Diva's Digs in May so keep an eye out for that interview.

I'm finishing up Prescription For Love and hope to have it available to you by May. I'm also very excited to share that I recently joined the Florida Writer's Association and look forward to attending some workshops and conferences. After meeting author Suzanne Baginske at a FWA meeting yesterday, I've decided to submit a few short story pieces to Chicken Soup and Woman's World magazine. She gave a very encouraging speech and gave all who attended some wise advice. If you're able to, please look into your local area's writing groups and see if one may be a fit for you. They always help me keep my focus and grow as a writer.
